This work was completed for FOU 120: 2D Form and Space at UMass Dartmouth. Each student was asked to create a depiction of a series of events in one paper-cut piece, akin to the works of acclaimed artist Kara Walker.

I chose to depict the story of Cassandra, a mythical prophet who - despite her best efforts - was never believed. Icons and vignettes of her life swirl to form the shape of a skull, signifying her morbid fate.
